Answers to the things people ask first.

Generating a course

How long does generation take?
Minutes, not hours — but it varies with how much material you gave it. The run streams progress stage by stage, and it is resumable, so closing the tab does not lose the work.
What if there is not enough material?
The Architect will tell you rather than padding. A two-page memo does not contain a course, and a tool that pretends otherwise wastes an afternoon of your time and all of your trust.
Can I edit the lessons it writes?
Yes. The publish gate is a full lesson-by-lesson review with citations inline, and nothing goes out until you approve it. Edits do not cost a credit.
What does the Verifier actually check?
Three things: claims the sources do not support, objectives with no exam question covering them, and places where two of your own documents contradict each other. Findings go back to the Author before you see the draft.

Learners and assignments

Do learners need an account?
Only a magic link. They click the invite in their email and take the course in the browser — no password to set, nothing to install.
What happens if I republish a course someone is part-way through?
Nothing changes for them. Assignments pin a version, so a learner who started v2 finishes v2 and new assignments get v3.
How is the exam graded?
Automatically. Multiple choice and short answer in the first version. You see completion and pass rates per course and per person, exportable as CSV.

Billing

What is a course credit?
One generation run. Editing, re-verifying and accepting Curator proposals are all free — only starting a fresh generation spends one.
Are authors billed?
No. Only learner seats. Anyone in your workspace can write and publish courses at no cost.
Can I cancel?
Any time, and it takes effect at the end of the billing period. Your courses and reporting data stay exportable while the workspace is open.

Your material

Is my material used to train models?
No. Your sources are isolated per session and never pooled across customers. The privacy policy has the specifics.
What happens to a source after I delete it?
It stops being reachable immediately and is purged on our retention schedule. Courses already generated from it keep their citations, which will then point at a source you can no longer open — so delete deliberately.
